Randolph Health to Host Free Golf Fitness Screening

ASHEBORO – Let’s face it – if you play golf, you want to be the best golfer you can be. You can invest in the latest clubs and equipment. You can put in the time and effort practicing. You can watch an endless array of online videos and subscribe to every golf publication in existence. But, you still won’t become the best golfer you can be if your body, the most important piece of golf equipment, is in pain or out of ideal balance.

The healthcare professionals with Randolph Health Deep River Physical Therapy and Randolph Health Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine will offer a free golf fitness screening on Tuesday, March 14th from 5 – 7 p.m. at Randolph Health Deep River Physical Therapy, located at 600 – A West Salisbury Street in Asheboro. The screening focuses on your individual physical characteristics as they relate to golf – the way you stand, address, bend, move, swing and follow through. This screening will consist of a series of tests to assess any posture, mobility or stability issues you may be experiencing.

This screening is one of Randolph Health’s community education events offered each month to promote health and wellness. While the screening is free, registration is required. For more information about this screening or to register, please call the Community Event Desk at (336) 633-7788.
