Vintage en Vogue Announces Selected Models

ASHEBORO Vintage en Vogue, the Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation’s exciting fashion show fund raiser, will take the stage for its fifth anniversary Thursday, February 2, 2017 as 22 of Randolph County’s most fashionable residents hit the runway.

“We have been overwhelmed with the response over the past five years from our community for Vintage en Vogue,” says April Thornton, President of the Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation. “In honor of our anniversary, our planning committee decided to make a small change and this year our models and stylists will show us their interpretation of Masquerade Ball styles. We’ll also have cutting-edge hair design, presented by the creative hair stylists from Shear Relaxation and Day Spa. Once again, it’s a fun and sophisticated event that appeals to both men and women.”

The members of the Vintage en Vogue committee have been hard at work, lining up models from the community to grace the runway. “We have a wide variety of your friends and neighbors appearing in our Vintage en Vogue fashion show,” says Fran Knapp, Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation Board member and Chair of the Vintage en Vogue Committee. “These are all people you will want to see walk the runway in unique, on-trend fashions, while enjoying an evening out with your friends.”

The models for the Vintage en Vogue 2017 fashion show will be: Zach Ausband, Zac Beane, James Burroughs, Michael Durham, Kara Elmore, Marlo Francis, Lucy Grady, Karie King, Cindy Leonard, Tyler Lisk, Jake Millikan, Barry Morris, Yajaira Owens, Marcelo Pariz, John Revell, Eric Rich, Lisa Ritch, Brian Saunders, David Smith, Dare Spicer, Patty Sullivan and Vanessa Young.

All proceeds from Vintage en Vogue will be used to support the work of the Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation. The Foundation was founded in 1995 and awarded its first grants in 1997. Contributions to the Foundation have been a valuable part of the Foundation’s ability to award over $900,000 in grants throughout Randolph County. Foundation grants are offered to non-profit, community organizations which will engage volunteers and organizations to motivate our community to make healthy lifestyle choices in the areas of nutrition, physical fitness, substance abuse or to advance the work of Randolph Hospital.

Vintage en Vogue 2017 will be held at the Klaussner Home Furnishings building at 405 Lewallen Road on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 6 pm until 8 pm. VIP ticket holders will arrive at 5:30 pm for a pre-event cocktail party. All attendees will enjoy time before the show to mix and mingle among the area’s most fashionable residents, enjoying beverages and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Those in attendance are encouraged to wear their chic and fashionable best. Tickets are $40 for standard tickets or $65 for VIP tickets and can be purchased by calling the Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation office at 336-633-7755 or visit www.RandolphHospital.org and click on the Vintage en Vogue tab.
