Randolph Health Lifts Flu Restrictions

ASHEBORO - Randolph Health joins others in removing visitation restrictions due to the declining level of flu in the area. The restrictions placed on children 12 and younger, which previously prevented them from entering the hospital, were lifted today, April 18 at 7 a.m.

The move to lift the restrictions was prompted by a decline in the number of flu patients in recent weeks. Individuals with flu symptoms still should not visit patients.

Randolph Health isn’t the only system lifting the restrictions. Restrictions have also been lifted at Cone Health, Carolinas HealthCare, Novant Health, High Point Regional Health System and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
