Free Balance Screening

ASHEBORO – Do you fear falling when getting out of bed in the morning or even when walking to get the mail? Does it make you nervous to bend without using a chair for fear you might topple over? These are everyday tasks that depend on your ability to control your balance. Balance problems affect about 8 million Americans and 2.4 million Americans report having chronic dizziness. Individuals who experience balance and dizziness problems often feel embarrassed or limited to stationary activities.

On Thursday, March 29th, physical therapists with Randolph Health Deep River Physical Therapy will conduct free balance screenings from 3 - 5 p.m. at 600 W. Salisbury St., Suite A, Asheboro. The screenings will consist of a series of balance tests to assess your risk of falling.

This screening is one of Randolph Health Deep River Physical Therapy’s community education events offered each month to promote health and wellness. While the screening is free, registration is required. For more information about this screening or to register, please call Randolph Health at (336) 633-7788.
