Free Skin Cancer Screening

During the spring months, everyone is very excited to get back outside and play in the sun. Although Vitamin D is essential to many aspects of life, like anything else, too much of one thing is never good. Randolph Cancer Center will host a free skin cancer screening on Tuesday, May 13th.  According to the American Cancer Society, more than one million Americans develop skin cancer each year. While skin cancer is the most prevalent form of cancer among both women and men, it is easy to detect and treat.

If you have a mole or discoloration that you’re concerned about, come have it checked on May 13th between 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Randolph Cancer Center located at 373 N. Fayetteville Street, by Drs. Steve Kimmel and Todd Williams, and Gay Markham, Nurse Practitioner. This screening is available for anyone who has not had a skin cancer screening in the last two years. This screening is one of Randolph Cancer Center’s community education events offered each month to promote health and wellness. Participants must pre-register for this free screening.
