Randolph Cancer Center, the North Carolina Zoo and Zoo Society are honoring cancer survivors, celebrating National Cancer Survivor’s Day, Saturday, May 31st, from 9-10 a.m. at the Hippo Beach Picnic Area (African Entrance) at the North Carolina Zoo. Randolph Cancer Center patients and their families are welcome to have breakfast and enjoy the NC Zoo for free.
Cancer survivors and their families can listen to music, compete with others and their cancer center care team to win prizes by shouting those infamous letters, B-I-N-G-O. The event will conclude with a message of hope and support before beginning a nice visit through the world renowned North Carolina Zoological Park.
